To honour Edward Carriere’s legacy while embracing innovation, we started by refining the original logo – we took the recognizable structure and elements and added a fresh, modern edge. The colour palette was chosen to reflect the salon’s enduring elegance, while providing contrasts and highlights for practical usage.
Our goal was to retain Edward Carriere’s loyal customer base while appealing to the modern audiences. We were tasked to combine the salon’s heritage with innovation for today’s online experience.
Once the branding refresh was complete, we carried the aesthetic through to the new website. We created a story-driven design that highlighted not just the salon’s services but the people and history behind it. Stunning photos of the salon’s space and its founders, Edward and Deborah, were placed front and center; with dedicated pages to introduce the brand history and each stylist, adding a personal touch to make the digital experience feel as intimate as a salon visit.
