Wrapped & Co. began with a simple notion: how to provide thoughtful, curated gift boxes for corporate clientele. The founder had experience in the space and wanted to expand it into a full time business. By sourcing Canadian products of a refined and bespoke nature, these kits stand out against a plain company tote bag. Our client had a great business idea and knew how to execute, and it was up to us to help her introduce it to the world.

THE LOGO, TYPEFACE, AND COLOUR PALETTE

Our team began with a logo design. Having a blank slate when thinking about a brand is always exciting and provided the opportunity to build something unique and establish strong brand guidelines in the process.

In keeping with the idea of curated gifts, a logo form with a curving ampersand was created, reminiscent of the shape of a bow. Complimentary fonts, colour palette and other brand elements followed. Upon finalizing the branding, and beginning to have some real fun with designing gift tags and other charming extras, we also directed our attention to building out the website.

WEBSITE DESIGN

The website development team was tasked with creating a straightforward and easy to navigate website for customers to place their orders. Implementing brand elements while letting the beautiful gift boxes take centre stage was always top of mind. All photography was done in-house, by Pauline Boldt. With each grouping of kits curated to capture the season, their changing nature allows Wrapped & Co to diversify their offerings as goods change and the needs of clients evolve.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

The project also extended to social media management. The first steps were defining the nature of the Instagram presence and establishing a brand voice. With the goal of marketing to new prospective clients, the Instagram content was designed to inform, engage and entice the audience. Showcasing the contents of the kits, as well as answering questions in the Stories section helped to boost the showcase of these products.
